Fullsilentmode

It drives me crazy that "silent mode" on my android still doesn't mute media (e.g. game sounds, music, etc.) or notifications. I wanted to guarantee that my phone would not make any sound at all when I wanted it quiet.

Download the Full Silent Button profile, and the three tasks (Full Silent Mode, Silent Toggle, Sound Label On) to your phone, and import them to tasker. To add the Full Silent Mode button, long-press on an empty spot on your home screen and select Widget. Select Task (with the Tasker icon). On the tasker screen, select the Silent Toggle task. Hit the green checkmark to save your new widget.

When you click the button the phone will be completely silent, and the icon and label will update so you know the sound is off. When you click it again sound levels will go back to where they were.

Note: The "quiet when face down" profile is optional. If you enable it, whenever your phone is face down it will go into full silent mode. This is great for meetings, but bad if you tend to leave your phone lying around the house face down (as it then becomes difficult to find by calling it).

TRIED TO IMPORT MAR 4, 2015…MUST LONG PRESS "TASKS" ON TOP BAR OF TASKER UI IN ORDER TO EVEN SEE ANY OF THE DOWNLOADED .XML FILES. CAN THEN ONLY SEE Full_Silent_Mode. WHEN TRY TO IMPORT GET ERROR MESSAGE "Error: bad packed data format."
